Augmented Intelligent HCM the next wave is here

Digital transformation of Human Resources function is gathering steam.  Last year, I was fortunate to attend the HR Technology Conference in Las Vegas.  It was an eye-opener.  Artificial Intelligence is mainstream among HCM vendors.  Features such as AI Chatbot, AI Recruiter, Automation, Learning and career recommendations are becoming the norms.

We are on the new wave of HCM and its called Augmented Intelligent HCM.  Organizations with ERP on-premise system with ambition to change HCM should consider two major pillars: Cloud platform and Artificial Intelligence. Thanks to the power of the cloud, these solutions are available for the small and medium enterprises not just for the big boys.

The Augmented Intelligent HCM will allow managers and employees to have more human moments.  Why?  Because it is designed to improve performance and productivity.  No longer will managers and employees need to fill in tedious appraisal forms, sniffing through pages of candidate applications or even data entry of new hires.  Managers and employees with will have an AI assistant taking care of those tasks.  Thereby allowing us to have more time to be more innovation, creativity and decision making for our customers.

More importantly, these solutions will be available to employees in the “flow of work” (Josh Bersin).  Meaning, managers can access information about their team without having to navigate to another app to complete an action.  This will provide tremendous productivity improvements.  And it’s going to get even more exciting when we move to the next phase, called a “AI Platform” where organizations can share aggregate data between each other with privacy e.g. benchmarking without having to complete manual surveys.  This AI Platform will do with a simple click of a button upon your approval of course!
